Lecchiore is a delightful little village. Nearby Dolcedo is a historic town with beautiful churches, a variety of shops, several pizzerias and restaurants, and a brilliant "gelateria".

Summer concerts - pop, jazz, choral, classical, opera - held in squares and churches add cultural richness to the area. Numerous walking and cycling routes are available nearby for the energetic all year round, with well-marked trails leading to magical pools and waterfalls for a refreshing summer dip in pure icy mountain water. Oneglia and Porto Maurizio (together called Imperia) are located right on the Mediterranean coast, 15 minutes away from Casa Bartolomeo. These places offer great opportunities for swimming, fishing, whale watching and dining with excellent fresh fish.

Every day there is a nice market in the immediate vicinity to visit. San Remo (30 minutes away) even has the largest "mercato" in the entire province.

Should there unexpectedly be or arise problems; We can help you with a visit to farmacia, a (hopefully not necessary) hospital, garage or otherwise. We know the way. We can of course also give you advice about good restaurants, cozy pizzerias, walking and cycling tours, local markets.

Our locations are not suitable for the disabled. The last road to the locations is typically Italian. A 100 meter narrow and steep challenge.... ;-) .
